CommunityWorkshop

Resilient Rhythms Community Workshops for Children and Young People last one hour. These sessions are open to groups of children and young people of a similar age.

The activities are adapted to be age appropriate for each group and participants discover how and why music can support them.

Our fun and energetic workshops aim to equip participants with engaging music-based strategies that help them manage their emotions and mental wellbeing.

Our workshops help participants explore how anxiety feels in the body, reducing stigma and fear around their experiences. We promote whole-body awareness to help them understand their emotions better.

We understand that playing or singing in front of peers can cause anxiety, but our workshops aim to take away the fear, creating a safe environment for positive connection through music, movement and breath work.

Often, children and young people doubt their abilities. Our workshops focus on positive self-talk, helping to boost self-esteem and enhance emotional regulation.

  • Enjoy creativity and fun activities.
  • Gain whole-body awareness, understanding how their brain and body work together.
  • Learn strategies to help with emotional regulation.
  • Find their voice and change negative inner dialogue.
  • Increase interaction and play with their peers, realising they share similar challenges.
  • Receive a toolbox of strategies to use in their daily lives.
